Defining your measures of success

Set your roll-out up for success by defining your key goals before you get started.

A successful rollout of Wellio starts with defining what "success" looks like for your school. Setting clear measures of success helps ensure your team is aligned and allows Wellio’s Customer Success Manager (CSM) to support you in achieving these goals. These measures will also be used to evaluate the rollout’s impact.

Why Define Success?

  • Clarity and Alignment: Defining success ensures your team has a shared understanding of what "great" looks like.
  • Purposeful Planning: It allows you to focus efforts on key priorities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective Support: Sharing these measures with your Wellio CSM ensures we can partner with you to achieve and evaluate your goals.

Getting Started

In your first year with Wellio, we find it’s helpful to focus on staff and student engagement as key success indicators. To begin, consider holding a brainstorming session with your wellbeing team. Discuss what successful use of Wellio looks like in your context, and define specific, measurable goals that align with your school’s priorities.

Ideas for Measuring Success

Here are some ideas to inspire your discussion:

  • Lesson Completion Goals:
Example: All classes complete at least one lesson by [insert date].
  • Staff Engagement:
Example: Staff feedback is overwhelmingly positive, encouraging more lesson delivery across the school.
  • Student Engagement:
Example: Increased student participation and enthusiasm in wellbeing lessons, measured through surveys or informal feedback.
  • Usage Metrics:
Example: Tracking the number of lessons completed across year levels or departments.
  • Specific Behavioral Changes:
Example: Positive trends in student wellbeing, reflected in improved attendance or reduced behavioural incidents.

Next Steps

  1. Define Your Goals: Use the brainstorming session to create a clear set of measures that reflect your priorities.
  2. Document and Share: Once finalized, document these goals and share them with your Wellio CSM.
  3. Review Progress: Regularly review these measures during the rollout period to ensure you're on track. Your Wellio CSM will provide guidance and support to help you succeed.
