      How to run a lesson with Wellio as a relief teacher

      Having a process for relief teachers to easily access Wellio means that wellbeing classes can enjoy uninterrupted learning in the face of disruptions to regular staffing.

      For school admin staff:  

      For relief teachers: 

      Access your school's relief teacher login

      As an Admin or Teacher, you can access your school's relief teacher login details directly within your Wellio account:

      Access CRT Details-1

      1. Select your initials in the top right hand corner of your Wellio homepage

      2. Click Settings

      3. Click School Account

      4. Click on the 'Email' to copy, and the 'Password' to copy, and send to your relief teachers!

      Share the necessary information with the relief teacher

      A relief teacher will need three pieces of information from the school to get started:

      1. The Wellio login details to use (whether that's your own, or a specific relief teacher account)
      2. The name of the class you'll be teaching
      3. The name of the lesson to be delivered that day

      The lessons you'll find in Wellio follow a teacher-led model of learning, as opposed to the independent learning you might be familiar with in other online learning platforms.

      For Wellbeing lessons, we see the teacher as a facilitator of learning and discussion for students, and require no subject-specific prior knowledge from you to be able to effectively deliver the topics. 

      We support you through a variety of physical and online activities contained within the lesson itself.

      Log in to Wellio

       

      1. With the login details for the school's Relief Teacher Account, head to the Wellio sign in page

        2. Input the email address provided and click Continue.

        3. Follow the remaining steps to sign in. 

        Find the class you're teaching

        For ease of set-up, relief teacher accounts have access to all classes in Wellio. This means that relief teachers won't need to be added to the specific class they're teaching in order to run a lesson.

         

        1. Click into All Classes. 

         

        2. Find the class that you are covering (making use of the search bar, if needed) and select it. 

         

        3. From here, select the lesson that you will be delivering.

        Lesson delivery:

        Depending on how Wellio is set up at the school, the students may or may not have their own Wellio accounts. If they do, we'd recommend asking them to:

        1. Log in to Wellio at the start of class
        2. Click into the lesson you'll be working through together, and then
        3. Close the lid of their device until it's time for them to engage via the interactive questions/activities embedded in the lessons.
