Running a check-in with your class
Present your class's check-in and see who still needs to answer.
When your school has scheduled a check-in, it appears in your class's lessons that week. It's one question, "How are you feeling today?", and takes students under two minutes.
What students see
Students pick Great, Good, Okay or Not great, skip the question, or choose "I need some help". Every answer earns the same XP.
Present it in class
- Open the lesson for that week.
- Click Present on the check-in, just like an in-class survey.
The board fills up as students finish. It never shows what anyone answered.
Unlike a survey, there's nothing to unlock. A check-in is open all week, so students who miss it in class can answer any time that week.
See who has checked in
Open the Review tab to see how many students have completed the check-in, missed it or haven't started, and the completion rate. Students who still need to check in are listed first.
Teachers don't see students' answers or results. A help request only goes to the staff the student chose, so being a student's class teacher doesn't give you access to it.
