Sending Wellio activation invites to new users

If you’re setting up your school in Wellio, you can invite teachers and students to join the platform by sending them an email invite. This guide covers how invites work, when they send, and what to do if an email doesn’t arrive.

Invite teachers to Wellio

1. Go to Settings -> Teachers -> Invite Teachers
   
   
   
2. Fill out the details for the new teacher:
   
    
   
3. In the drop-down, select their Role, whether they are a teacher or require admin permissions. Optional: To add more teachers, click Add another
4. When you're done, click Email invitation now to send the invite(s) to their inbox
   • If your school is in Setup Mode, don’t worry – clicking Email invitation now will still send the invite to that teacher.

Invite students to Wellio

1. Go to Settings -> Students -> Invite Students
   
   
   
2. Fill out the details for the new student:
   
   
3. In the drop-down, select their Year level
   • Optional: To add more students, click Add another
4. When you're done, click Email invitation now to send the invite(s) to their inbox

How Setup Mode affects invites

Setup Mode pauses automatic bulk invites while you prepare your school.

You can still manually override this by resending their invite – they'll then receive their invite email as normal.

This is great if you want to give early access to a few staff before fully launching.

What to do if the activation email doesn't arrive

If a teacher or student didn’t receive their invite:

• Ask them to check their junk or spam folder

• Double-check the email address used is correct

• If needed, resend the invite (see: Resending Teacher Invites)
