Student Preview Mode for Teachersers

Wondering what your students will see during a lesson? You can preview the student experience directly from any lesson in your sequence.

What is Student Preview Mode?

Student Preview Mode lets teachers see a lesson exactly as their students would – including whether students will need to log in and answer interactive questions during that lesson.

This is useful for planning ahead and setting expectations with your class before a session.

How to access it

  1. Navigate to the individual lesson page within your sequence
  2. Look for the Student Preview option on the lesson page

  3. This will show you the student-facing view of that lesson

Preview Student Mode (Devices vs. Device-free)

When previewing a lesson you'll see one of two things:

  • Interactive questions present (device schools)  – students will need to log in to answer questions on their own accounts during or after the lesson:

  • No interactive questions (device-free schools) – students won't need to log in for this lesson. The teacher leads the session without students needing their devices:

Checking Student Preview Mode before class is the best way to know which applies, so you can plan accordingly.
