How to set students up on Wellio

Easily set students up in Wellio by sending them an email invitation or sharing a class join code with them.

There are three options for enrolling students on the Wellio platform:

In most instances, enrolling students in bulk at the start of the academic year creates the smoothest classroom experience. If your classes are already set up on the platform, or some students in your class are already underway, you may prefer to invite students individually or provide them with a class code for seamless enrolment.

Send out email invitations to students

You can use this workflow to add multiple students to your class, as needed.

1. Click into the Class that you would like to enrol students in.

2. Click onto the Manage Students button to view all of the students who have signed up to your class:

3. Invite students onto the platform by clicking on the purple Invite Students button.

4. Click on the Invite via email option.

5. Use the search bar to find student(s) and add them to your class.

6. If the students name does not appear, you can add them by clicking on: Can't find them? Add a new student.

7. Fill out the students details and click on the purple Invite Student button.

8. From here, students will receive an email from Wellio that includes a link to verify their email.

Share a class join code

Watch this video to learn how to access your class code!

1. Click into the Class that you would like to enrol students in.

2. Click onto the Manage Students button to view all of the students who have signed up to your class.

3. Invite students onto the platform by clicking on the purple Invite Students button.

4. Click on the class code option.

5. Share this link with students, along with their class' join code: https://app.wellioeducation.com/join

If students head to the Wellio website instead, they can also access this page by clicking on the Join a class button from the website's home page.

After the students enter in the class code which you have shared, they will then be asked to enter in their Email Address

SSO Set-Up

If your school has integrated Single Sign-On with Wellio, students won't require email verification. Instead, they'll be redirected to log in with their school-associated email address and password. Subsequently, their Wellio account will seamlessly synchronize with their school email account!

Students fill out any last details

After entering the class code, your students will be prompted to fill out a form which asks them for their name, email address, year level, and password. Providing accurate information in this form is crucial for a seamless sign-up process.

Providing accurate information in this form is crucial for a seamless sign-up process. If students run into any trouble, please check that they:

Use their school email address (and it has been spelled correctly).
Click the appropriate Year Level
Use a password with at least 8 characters
Write their password down in a safe location to keep record

Once students have filled out this information, they click Create my account to receive a verification email at the address they provided.

SSO Set-Up

If your school has integrated Single Sign-On with Wellio, students won't follow this step. Instead, they'll be redirected to log in with their school-associated email address and password. Once their Wellio account has been created, it will seamlessly link to their school email!

Whether you add students yourself or use the class join code, students will receive an email requesting them to confirm their account. This step helps safeguard their account and mitigates potential login issues later in the year.

Once the student clicks Confirm my account, they will be redirected to their Wellio account and gain access to their class.
