Using Teacher Checklists

Checklists are designed to help your school get set up quickly and stay on track throughout the year. They outline key tasks, show who’s responsible, and make it easy to monitor your school’s progress.

🏫 School Admin Checklists (Shared)

If you're a school admin, you'll have access to a shared checklist for your school’s setup. You’ll find it under the Tasks tab in the top navigation.

This checklist includes:

  • Essential onboarding and planning tasks

  • Grouped task categories (e.g. Technical Setup, Staff Training)

  • Clear due dates and assigned task owners

  • A countdown to rollout so you know what’s urgent

Managing your Tasks

  1. Go to the Tasks tab in your top navigation header.
  2. See who's involved: Admin avatars appear at the top. Click to see names and roles.

  3. Browse task groups: Tasks are grouped (e.g. IT Setup, Training).
  4. Edit and mark off as complete:
    • Click on a task to view details.
    • Edit title, due date, description, or assign an owner
    • Mark as done

Note: Only admins can view and edit these tasks.


👩‍🏫 Getting Started Checklist (for Teachers)

Teachers receive their own short checklist the first time they log in to Wellio.

  • These are personal checklists, visible only to the individual teacher.

  • You don’t need to assign tasks - just tick them off as you go.

  • You can hide the checklist once you’re done, or revisit it later.
